The Mindset to Succeed

"The secret to success is to make your mind work for you - not against you. This means constantly being positive, constantly setting up challenges you can meet - either today, next week, or next month etc." - Arnold Schwarzenegger

1. Find your Why! Why do you want to succeed? You need to find strong reasons to do it, because those reasons will be the source of your daily inspiration. Define what priorities do you have in life.
2. What do you love to do? You need to find out what you love, because success will be a hard journey. Loving what you do will make  you keep in going when it gets tough. You'll do if it rains or if the sun shines, because you love it.
3. What are your dreams in life? What do you dream of? What is your dream life and things you want to have or experience? Who's with you on those dreams? What are you doing and living?
4. Think BIG. Put no limits to what you dream or want. You don't have to be rational at this point, execution comes later. Use the power of your imagination to think big about how your life would look like if you were successful. That's what you should aim for, so why not aim high?
5. Failure cannot paralyze you. Don't be afraid of making mistakes or even fail in the long run. No successful person was a success from the get go, they all made mistakes of some kind and learn from them. So, you need to understand that your failures are nothing but the stepping stones to your success.

“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.” - Napoleon Hill

6. Believe in yourself. Leave doubts out. If you don't believe in yourself, who else will? You need to know yourself to the fullest, and be self-accountable. You have the capability to be successful, believe in it.
7. Stay positive, get rid of negative thoughts. See every situation from a positive stand point, circumstances aren't good or bad, it's how you look at them. Let the positive perspective shine!
8. Be persistent about your dreams and goals. Success is not an overnight thing, you must be patient and continue to push forward every time. Persistence is very important.
9. Think outside the box. Look at your career from a different perspective, connect things that no one has yet connected. Recycle old concepts and give them a new look. Be brave about it.
10. Train your mind to succeed and to stay committed to be successful. Look for challenges and ways you can expand our mind. Get in a routine where you meditate, or, think about your goals, in the morning and when you go to bed.

11. Make a list of your goals. From short term to long term goals. Things you need to achieve now, things you can achieve in 2 months and things you want to achieve in 5 years. Of course, they can and should be connected. A dozen small steps make a big step, and small steps are simple to do.
12. Study the successful. Follow the examples of people who succeed in what you're trying to achieve. Having a proven plan that already worked can really help you and gain you some time.
13. List the tasks you need to execute daily to reach your goals. Time to put into paper the steps that you need to take to achieve each goal. You might not know everything, somethings you'll understand along the way, but for now map out the route you need to follow to reach your destination.
14. Build a daily schedule. Insert your daily tasks in chunks of time. The more diverse your day the more areas you can cover, impact and change in your life. It's very important that you manage your time.
15. Seek for knowledge. Do your goals require you to know something new or study new information? Get that education! It can be a course or curriculum, but YouTube and Google are an immediate and precious help right now.

“Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act.” - Pablo Picasso

16. Stay balanced in your planning. Your plan should contemplate every important area of your life. Personal goals, relationship and family goals, financial goals, health goals, you name it!
17. List the resources that are available to you right now! What things can you use to execute your plan? Things that you already have or things you don't have but you can reach out to someone you know and get them.
18. Stay creative in your approach. Imagination can take to places where logic can't. Use it! To succeed you need ideas that most don't think of, stay fresh and updated when you make your plan.
19. Look out for a mentor. Someone older than you that has a proven record of success. It can be a valuable ally, a person that is there to listen to you and ready to provide the best advise.
20. Re-planning if part of the process. Learn the lessons success is giving you along the way. Don't be afraid to scratch a beginners plan for a new improved plan that gives you more chances to succeed.

27. Give yourself time to learn. Stop to be too hard on yourself, don't expect to be good at something from the start. Practice brings improvement, so look to improve and develop yourself in the long road.
28. Don't just strive to be good, strive to be amazing. We understand quality requires time, but that doesn't translate into poor execution. Try to do your best version every time you do something.
