What you need to do is to have a constructive approach to it, instead of saying "nothing works!" replace with questions like "what can I build here?" or "what can I do different?".

Your thoughts are stopping you from doing things, you're too much concentrated on what people will think, on how things might not work, on how your reputation can be damaged by it, etc. All those things are only happening in your mind, and your thoughts amplify them day by day.
