We all have our hard times and bad days where happiness is nowhere to be found. 

In life, sometimes, a bad feeling it's a matter of focus: remember when you saw for the first time those optic illusion pictures with a hidden image, where you see one thing at first glance and nowadays you can see several others in that same picture? It's a matter of perspective and focus.

1 - Remember a day where you've achieved a goal  

How did you felt achieving it? How did others felt and congratulate you for it? Did your parents or family were proud of you?  Go back to that day and feel the energy that was in your body. How good it was the experience? GREAT how do you feel now? GREAT

2 - Enjoy nature and it's greatness

Sit by the sea listen to the waves. 

If no sea is near, select a landscape, or your local city garden if nothing is available (last resource if nothing is available use youtube or instagram). 

Close your eyes if you want to, just listen to the nature sounds.

Inhale the fresh air, breath, feel that the minor issue you're going through in your life is incomparable to nature's power. 

We take society rules so for granted that we forgot how it all started, and how all could end. Get inspired by nature!

3 - Move your body

Don't just stand there feeling misery. 

Rise up, go outside, move your body with some physical activity - run, jump, swim, play sports, just walk if that's the only thing you can, but do so!

Moving your body into a determined form will change your internal biochemistry and that will certainly change the way your brain thinks. And BOOM, good feelings have arrived.

4 - Watch the children’s play

Go outside and see the children playing, now act like one. 

Nothing can demonstrate better what happiness is, than the free sensation of a child's game. 

Don't be a hard headed adult who never plays with nothing, even if you don't feel like it, just act like a child for a few minutes. 

Jump rope, go to the playground, hide and seek, video games, sport games, that's a lot to choose from, and like a child you don't know where to start! Good feelings from everywhere!

5 - Be quiet by yourself

We tend to be always moving, always connecting to others, always doing something that we forget how rich this is: Shut down from the world for some minutes!

Cellphones disconnected, no tv or radio noise, nothing electronic plugged in, no noise at all. Put yourself in a confortable position, close your eyes and relax for 5 minutes.

6 - Ask a friend or family member 

to write what they think it's your best quality and why

You can't just be an island, what your loved ones see in you it's important. Some are to shy to say it, so have them writing in a piece of paper. 

And other advantage of having written down, you can keep that paper in your wallet and read it whenever you need to. It can start with a "You inspired me.." or "I love because..." something of that nature.
