The first step to take on any path to success is to appreciate what you already have. Whether it’s material objects, a house, a car, love, free time, friends, whatever it is, if you’re always striving for more, you’ll never get it.

2. Everything Will Help You Succeed

We live our own lives which is why we’re best qualified to talk about it. That means both the good and the bad times.

But why is it that we talk about the bad times? How we picked the short straw or how unfair life is being to us. What gain does this have to anyone? Learn to balance it.

Avoid the ‘victim mentality’. Remember, life is hard, life is unfair, life owes you nothing but, you sure can make something about it.  

3. For every Action there is a Reaction 

Life happens every second of every day and every moment that passes isn’t without consequence. You can’t change one thing in your life without it affecting every other part.

Every thought you have, every glimmer of hope or fear ripples through your consciousness. Likewise, improving one aspect of your life, and the rest will improve as well.

Let’s say that I have been working in the IT industry for the last few decades. If you want to work in the IT industry, you might come up to me and ask whether it’s a good idea for them to go into the industry.

If you need that kind of approval or permission to do something, you probably shouldn’t be doing it.

8. You’re as Successful as You Let Yourself Be

If you said to me ‘I wish I could play the guitar’, I would reply by saying ‘No you don’t because you would make the time to practice’.

Life is all about priority and decision making. What are your priorities right now?

If you want to be successful envision your goal and dream big. You can only go as far as you dream.

9. Envision Your Future

You can’t harvest fruit if you don’t originally plant the seed and watch it grow.
